A strong start to school

Starting Kindergarten brings new routines, new friendships, and plenty to discover. We help children find their feet while building the skills they will use throughout their schooling.

Foundations for learning

Explicit phonics and early reading instruction help children connect sounds, letters and words. Writing, fine motor activities and purposeful numeracy lessons build their skills step by step.

Support for your child

Teachers monitor each child’s progress and provide targeted support or opportunities to extend their learning. Ongoing communication keeps families involved in their child’s progress.

Confidence and belonging

Clear routines, guided play and learning together help children develop independence and positive friendships. Our Christian faith shapes how we teach and care for children, encouraging kindness, respect and compassion in everyday learning and relationships. Families of all faiths are welcome in our College community.

Meet our Kindergarten teachers

Miss Elenoa Koro

Kindergarten Teacher

I love watching children discover just how capable they are, especially when they use something we’ve learnt in another part of their day. I take time to learn what makes each child laugh, listen to their stories, and offer reassurance when they need it. I want every child to know they belong and can always come and talk to me.

Mrs Kristy Lett

Kindergarten Teacher

After many years of teaching, I still treasure the moment a child proudly says, “I can do it!” I love the curiosity, imagination and wonder children bring to Kindergarten. Getting to know their interests, strengths and what helps them feel confident allows me to support each child as they find their voice and discover they are capable learners.
