Mountain View Adventist College opens new state-of-the art Kindy Learning Hub

Mountain View Adventist College has just completed the redevelopment of its new state-of-the-art Kindergarten facility called the Kindy Learning Hub. The Kindergarten facility is located immediately adjacent to its Prep-centre which is co-located on the school grounds, creating an educational zone specifically designed for children at the beginning of their educational journey.

MR IRWIN STEYN NAMED NEW PRINCIPAL OF MOUNTAIN VIEW ADVENTIST COLLEGE

Welcome Mr Irwin Steyn as the new Principal for Mountain View Adventist School. Mr Steyn started his teaching career in Seoul, Korea and has been an integral part of the leadership team of the Greater Sydney Conference of Adventist Schools for almost two decades, firstly at Sydney Adventist College and then later as part of the executive team at Hills Adventist College.

Mountain View Student Receives Highest Acolade For HSC Music

Mountain View Adventist College’s HSC Student Michelle Vele has been nominated to perform at Encore – one of the highest recognitions available to HSC students. In light of the recent national ‘R U OK Day’ Campaign on Thursday September 14th, an article was released by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners stating that “Australians are now presenting to their GP with mental health issues more than any other kind of health concern”. Given that GP’s are often the first port-of-call for any and all medical concerns, this really highlights the prevalence and importance of mental health in our community. In addition, patients almost always present with ‘co-morbid’ conditions meaning that they have accompanying health issues along with mental health concerns.
