A Supported Start — From Prep to Year 12

One of the best ways to know whether a school is the right fit for your child and your family is to experience it in person.

We warmly invite you to join us for Open Day at Mountain View Adventist College, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore our campus, meet our staff, and gain a genuine sense of life at our school.

Whether you are considering Prep as your child’s first step into formal schooling, or preparing for the important transition into Year 7, Open Day is designed to help you feel informed, confident, and supported in your decision.

A Supported Start to Year 7

Starting high school is a significant milestone, and at Mountain View Adventist College, we place strong emphasis on supporting students as they transition into secondary education.

Our Year 7 program is designed to help students settle confidently into high school life — academically, socially, and emotionally. With a strong focus on pastoral care, wellbeing, and connection, students are known, supported, and guided as they grow into confident learners.

Open Day is a valuable opportunity to learn more about:

  • How we support the transition from primary school to secondary school
  • Our approach to learning, wellbeing, and student development
  • The care and guidance students receive during their early years of high school

A Nurturing Start in Kindy

As families begin thinking about their child’s first year of school, finding a place where they feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for is often the biggest priority.

At Mountain View Adventist College, our Kindy program focuses on nurturing each child’s confidence, curiosity, and sense of belonging — creating a calm, positive, and supported start to school life.

What You’ll Experience on the Day

  • A guided tour of our Doonside campus
  • The opportunity to meet our teachers, staff, and school leaders
  • A Q&A session with the leadership team
  • Insight into our values-based approach to Prep–Year 12 education
  • Information on enrolment pathways and next steps
